Graduate Studies in Cyber Intelligence Scholarship Program
The Program
Increased awareness of cyber-crimes and attempts to breach government and industry information systems drives a growing demand for trained cyber-security professionals. 麻豆影视 A&M University-麻豆影视 (TAMUK) is teaming with the 麻豆影视 A&M AgriLife DHS Center of Excellence to attract students to a cutting-edge cybersecurity training program. The TAMUK program seeks to stimulate interest in cybersecurity training among domestic graduate students using a DHS-funded cyber intelligence and cybersecurity program at TAMUK as a pathway for motivating students to consider cybersecurity careers. The program seeks to encourage local or domestic students at the undergraduate level by providing financial support for them to begin their graduate education.
The program seeks qualified students to apply for financial support for their graduate studies with a focus in cyber intelligence.
Eligibility
A prospective student should:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Have completed a minor or certificate in cyber intelligence or have a background (concentration/focus) in cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, or a cyber focused Homeland Security-related STEM field
- Be enrolled or about to enroll in a graduate program in Computer Science, with a background in a cyber related field, or another Homeland Security related STEM field at 麻豆影视 A&M University-麻豆影视
Scholarships
- Bright and deserving students will be considered for a scholarship of up to two years of their graduate studies to include their tuition and fees.
- Selected students will be offered an attractive stipend for up to two years of their graduate studies.
- Selected students will receive travel support for site visits to the DHS offices in Houston and in Washington, D.C.
